Exchanges, Returns & Refunds

A client’s utmost satisfaction is always the primary goal of everyone at Dashing Chicago. The hope is that prior to placing an order, all questions, concerns and fit/sizing questions would be addressed with Dashing Chicago prior to an order is finalized. In summary:

- Pre-ordered items can be returned for store credit only.
- Gift cards cannot be returned or converted to cash.
- All sale items, including those discounted with a coupon code, may be returned for store credit only. These items are not eligible for a refund.

Exchanges

If you ask for an exchange, Dashing Chicago will pay the return-shipping label for re-delivery of the item(s). Only ONE exchange by item will be honored.

If you ask for a refund, Dashing Chicago will use commercially reasonable efforts to ensure that any refund will be made within 7-10 business days of receipt of the goods returned by crediting your charge or credit card.

We offer free exchanges or returns in case the shoe is not to your liking. Please contact us at contact@dashingChicago.com for a size swap or return within 5 days of receiving the goods. We will then accommodate you with the correct exchange/return address and provide you with a different sized pair of shoes or refund to ensure you are fully satisfied with your purchase.

Returns must be sent in their original condition (footwear soles show ZERO wear), and intact packaging to the following address:

Dashing Chicago, 621 S Plymouth Court, Unit 301, Chicago, IL.

You must enclose the original receipt with your returns or a copy if you are returning part of your order. For items received as a gift obtained from the dashingchicago.com website, you are only entitled to a product exchange. Only products that are in their original state, including the original packaging and receipt will be eligible for an exchange and/or return.

In order to be eligible for an exchange or return you must return the goods in original and unworn condition (please try on shoes on a soft surface to prevent sole scratching) together with the original packaging, within 5 days of receiving the goods. When these conditions are not met, Dashing Chicago is unfortunately unable to issue an exchange or refund.

Unfortunately, we cannot refund any possible duties, taxes or shipping costs that are made by us sending and returning the product(s), except for the direct shipping label cost of the one return.

The returned product/products remain your responsibility until it arrives at our ateliers.

Please be aware that products from the following categories (Exotic leathers, Horween Shell Cordovan, Special Orders), and customized and/or personalized items are unfortunately not eligible for any exchanges or returns and sales are final.

Dashing Chicago has sole discretion in determining whether the products are in original condition when returned to dashingchicago.com website. 
Dashing Chicago will not be responsible or liable if any item you wish to return to the dashingchicago.com website is lost, misdirected or delivered late, insofar as clients are supposed to bear the risks of the shipping they choose.

In-store purchases

Purchases made in our physical store must be returned within 5 days of purchase. Items can be exchanged for other merchandise or returned for a store credit against future purchases. Refunds are not issued under any circumstances for in-store purchases.
