The Alden 955 in black calf single monk strap is a crazy versatile model. I know it looks rather formal, but when styled correctly - it looks more than at home paired with some color chinos or well styled denim.

This shoe can also be your tuxedo/formal shoe. It can be worn very formally for a very clean and modern aesthetic, or paired way back and really worn casually. 

I personally have been wearing my pair for about a year, and love wearing it with bright colored causal trousers and denim & sweaters.
